I want to
tell you about a singer who cames from Banjarnegara whose name is Abid Ghoffar
Bin Aboe Ja’far or the famous name is Ebiet. G. Ade. He was the youngest of six
children whose father is a civil servant. Ebiet’s name he got from the English
language course at that time whose teachers were foreigners, may be they said A
to be E. After that his friends have been calling him “Ebiet” till now. Ebiet
used to often gather with yogyakarta’s young artists that makes him motivated
to produce quality works. He likes writing poetry which the theme is about
nature and sometimes about religious. Then, he realizes it to be a good song
whom I always sing when I was in confusion. I very like listening to Ebiet’s
song which the title is “Untuk Kita Renun”. This song tells us that we must
always introspection ourselves so that will make us to become a better people.
There are many
more Ebiet’s songs that give us morals value about life.
I think that’s
all about Ebiet. G. Ade whose works are very wonderful.
